Since 1985, Steve has focused his legal career on civil litigation representing individuals and businesses throughout the State. Steve also does work in the areas of real estate, estate planning and administration.

Throughout his career, Steve has been lead counsel on more than 25 jury trials and over 100 bench trials.

Steve's experience and insight lends tremendous value to Ciesla & Ciesla's clients in that he is available to lend advice and consultation in developing strategies for clients when they face situations which could result in litigation. He also excels in representing clients who find themselves with no choice in initiating litigation to remedy a situation or defend a case already filed. Steve's approach involves getting to know the facts, the players, the issues and the client's goals and then collaborates with the client in order to develop a successful strategy. Steve clients appreciate his accessibility and approachability. Steve's clients value his high level of communication.

Steve grew up in Chicago's Northern Suburbs and currently lives in Northbrook, Illinois with his wife, Cheryl, and his two children.
