Kenneth L. Kwiatt was born in Oak Park, Illinois, in 1936 and grew up on the Northeast side of Chicago, Illinois. He attended Loyola Academy in Chicago and Loyola University's Lake Shore Campus on the Northside of Chicago. Mr. Kwiatt graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences.
After college, Mr. Kwiatt attended John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, where he received his Juris Doctor. In 1966, Mr. Kwiatt was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Illinois, and in 1967, he was admitted to The United States Tax Court.
Mr. Kwiatt began a private practice of law at Sheib, Maher & Newman from 1967 until 1974, whereupon he formed a partnership with Michael Silverman, creating Kwiatt & Silverman. At Kwiatt & Silverman, he continued his concentration on business transactions, corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning and kindred activities. In 2000, he withdrew from the practice he began in 1974 and practiced as a sole practitioner until joining Ciesla & Ciesla, P.C. in 2002, in an Of Counsel capacity.
Kenneth L. Kwiatt currently lives in Lake Forest, Illinois with his wife.
