KATHRYN CIESLA: In our work in liquor law, we represent clients from around the nation and locally who are looking to obtain liquor licenses all over the state of Illinois. We help clients get new liquor licenses. We help transfer liquor licenses. We defend violations. And we help clients establish policies and procedures which would help guard against future violations.
One of our biggest challenges or questions from clients is how do we handle the city of Chicago. This city of Chicago has a complicated liquor code. We have extensive experience working with the city of Chicago and are confident that we can handle clients' issues within the city.
Time is money and if a client wants to open a restaurant, a liquor store, any type of liquor licensed business, they need to work with somebody who is experienced, who knows the ropes, who understands the law, who has a good rapport with the local villages or the cities to make sure their process flows efficiently and timely in order to get those doors open and start making money.
We have enough experience in this area to assure clients that there's no learning curve.
